路 Only legally licensed street-legal vehicles being operated in accordance with Montana State law are allowed on Refuge roads.
路 Unlicensed ORUVs such as motorcycles/dirt bikes or all-terrain vehicles (ATVs/UTVs) may not be used on the Refuge.
路 Off-road travel, to include dirt two-tracks, except that portion of Culver Road when open, is prohibited on the Refuge.
路 Travel on closed roads or going around gates is illegal.
路 Montana resident ATV/UTV owners
- ATVs/UTVs belonging to Montana residents must be street legal and must have a license plate, brake lights, and rear-view mirror.
- Operators must possess a proper driver鈥檚 license.
路 Non-resident ATV/UTV owners
- ATVs/UTVs must be legally licensed from the state of origin. (If you cannot license an ATV/UTV in your state, contact MT Fish, Wildlife & Parks to get a temporary permit.)
- Operators must possess a driver鈥檚 license.
