  • Camping must be in conjunction with on-refuge wildlife-dependent activities, including hunting, fishing, photography, wildlife observation, interpretation, and environmental education.
  • Length of stay not to exceed 14 days during any 30 consecutive day period within the refuge boundary (includes both the NWR and WMU). This means you can not stay at the WMU for 14 days and then go to the Headquarters campground or move campsites for another 14 days.
  • Camping is allowed only in designated sites 鈥� Refuge Headquarters campground and 7 sites at the Tishomingo Wildlife Management Unit (McAdams River Access, McAdams Pond, Reeves Ravine North, Reeves Ravine South, Clifton River Access, Lost Lake, Bobcat and Rattlesnake River Access). Camping outside of these sites is strictly prohibited.
  • Campsites are primitive sites.
  • Campsites are free and offered on a first come -first serve basis.
  • Camps must be occupied daily.
  • Fires are limited to the provided fire pits or bbq grills. Fires must be attended at all times or completely extinguished prior to departure. The burning of materials that produce toxic fumes, including but not limited to tires and treated wood products, is prohibited.
  • Take all trash with you. Fire rings and grills are not to be used as trash bins.
  • All pets must be on a leash and under the control of the owner or otherwise confined while in the camping area.
  • Visitors must observe quiet time in the campground between 11 pm and 7 am.
  • Target shooting is not allowed on areas where shooting ranges are not provided.
