Pagalagivsi! (Greetings in Inupiaq language)

I'm Aiviq Ernest Nageak, born and raised in Barrow, Alaska (now known as ±«³Ù±ç¾±²¹Ä¡±¹¾±°ì). As an Alaska Native Affairs Specialist for the North Slope Barrow Field Office, I work closely with local wildlife entities and community members to ensure our hunting traditions continue for years to come. I help tag Marine Mammals in our region and am also a member of the teaching cadre for our Alaska Native Relations Training. I received my Associates of Arts degree here in my hometown at our Tribal Ilisagvik College. I enjoy working with Wildlife but also love going out camping, whaling and doing anything outdoors.
