About Alex Gilford

Alex has worked as a museum educator at historical and art museums in Michigan for over 10 years. He also worked as a Park Ranger with the U.S. Forest Service in Wyoming and Utah during the Summer 2022 season. Alex appreciates year-round fishing in southeast Michigan; he is looking forward to introducing others to the activity and inspiring them to become stewards of our °ù±ð²µ¾±´Ç²Ô’s watershed through the Detroit River Youth Fishing Team program. In his free time Alex enjoys hiking, camping, paddling, and working with his horse - an American Paint Horse named Grace."
