Summary and Objectives: 

Analytical Interpretation and Communication for SSAs is designed specifically for fish and wildlife biologists leading or assisting with Species Status Assessments. This course aims to enhance the biologists ability to interpret, apply, and communicate analytical needs and analysis results withing the Species Status Assessment (SSA) framework. 

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Effectively interpret and communicate data, analysis needs, and analysis results
  • Identify different types of data and their implications for SSAs
  • Assess data quality and relevance for analytical applications
  • Communicate uncertainty in data and decision-making
