Like the Nisqually Delta Restoration in 2010, this project will restore estuary habitat to South Puget Sound. The Deschutes Estuary Restoration Project team will present on this transformational restoration project, which will restore 260 acres of historic estuarine and salt-marsh habitat at the mouth of the Deschutes River, at the footstep of the Capitol Campus, and along the shorelines of Olympia and Tumwater. The presentation will overview site conditions, design concepts, and benefits of estuary restoration in this unique urban setting.

She is currently the consultant team Project Manager for the Deschutes Estuary Restoration Project, following her leadership of the Capitol Lake 鈥 Deschutes Estuary Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). She manages coordination across a large interdisciplinary team of technical experts and engineers and oversees an extensive outreach program.
