Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge, the City of Bloomington, Indigenous Roots, Huellas Latinas and the Minnesota Zoo presents Nature Fest (formerly Latino Conservation Week or LCW) an event to celebrate the cultures that make up Latino community and the nature that connects us all. Join us for a day of music, art, and food. Everyone is welcome at this FREE event!
Enjoy cultural performances, try something new at the food trucks, discover wildlife, and so much more! Explore the refuge and discover new ways to enjoy the outdoors. The first 250 people to arrive will also receive free meal tickets to use at the food trucks. This is an event you won鈥檛 want to miss 鈥� bring the whole family!

Music from: Mariachi Estrella, Colombia LIVE, and DJ Queen Duin!
Activities: Facepainting with Tina's Airbrush, Water Painting with International Indigenous Youth Coalition, Loteria, Screenprinting, Live art with Jesus Ramirez, Archery and more!
Performances from: Baila Venezuela, Kalpulli Yaocenoxtli, Yali Cuzcatleca, and Boriken Cultural Center!
Organizations present: Minnesota Zoo, City of Bloomington, Huellas Latinas, Three Rivers Park District, Urban Bird Collective, Metro Blooms, and Hennepin Country Public Libraries
Food: Food Trucks from DelSur Empanadas, Taco Taxi, Big Bell Ice cream, and La Tortilla Food Truck. The first 250 people to arrive will receive a free meal ticket!

From Interstate 494:
- Take exit 34th Ave and head south.
- At the stop light on American Blvd. East, proceed east for 录 mile around the bend and up a small rise to find the entrance on the right.
- Overflow parking available at the Hilton MSP Airport Hotel (3800 American Blvd E) and the Embassy Suites by Hilton Minneapolis Airport (7901 34th Ave S).
From :
- Exit at American Blvd Station and cross 34th Avenue to the east.
- Proceed east on American Blvd East and follow the sidewalk 录 mile around the bend and up a small rise to find the entrance on the right. About a 10 minute walk.
- Visit to plan your trip! Parking at the 30th Ave Station is recommended.
