Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge to Suspend Recreation Fees and Associated Visitor Service Activities at Brown Canyon

Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge will suspend recreation fees and associated visitor services activities at Brown Canyon beginning Aug. 11, 2025, until further notice. These fees were associated with facility use and tours at Brown Canyon, which are not accessible to visitor use at this time. Recreation fees and associated visitor activities at Brown Canyon will only resume after additional public outreach and notification.
Other areas of the refuge remain open. The visitor center is open with limited hours. Please contact us before your visit at [email protected].
