About Us

The Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program helps landowners restore and enhance wildlife habitat, providing them technical and financial assistance.  Partners staff custom-design projects to meet landowners鈥 needs.

Our Mission

The mission of the Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program is to work with others to efficiently achieve voluntary habitat restoration on private lands, through financial and technical assistance, to conserve federal trust species and their habitat for the continuing benefit of the American people.

Partners staff focus efforts on areas of conservation concern, such wetlands and native prairies, and projects to likely benefit federal trust species including migratory birds, endangered, threatened and at-risk species.

Our History

Since 1987, we have helped more than 25,000 landowners to complete more than 40,000 projects, restoring more than six million acres of forest, prairie, wetland and stream habitat for wildlife.
