Interpretive Tours: Connect with Nature and History

Interpretive tours offer a fun and engaging way to connect with nature and history while providing hands-on learning opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds.

At the Cabo Rojo National Wildlife Refuge and Cabo Rojo NWR Salt Flats Unit, we provide interpretive tours along the various walking trails at both locations. These tours aim to educate students, communities, and visitors about the importance of conserving our natural resources, the different species of flora and fauna that are currently threatened or endangered in the area, and the actions we can all take to protect them.

Our goal is for every visitor to leave with a sense of connection, belonging, and responsibility to protect these beautiful habitats and the diverse organisms that inhabit them.
