Trail Activities
Hike along the shoreline and jungle path where visitors will be able to experience an ancient CHamoru village untouched since the late seventeenth century, including the remnants of several latte homes and other cultural artifacts. The trail is rocky once you enter village; however, it’s mostly flat with a slight incline as you enter the village and a decline to the beach that some may find difficult. Recommended for ages 7 years and up. This trail is only accessible during Ranger-led tours.

The Cave Trail, as its name suggests, leads to several caves, including Star Cave. Part of the trail is accessible to the public, with the remainder only accessible during Ranger-guided tours. However, the caves are only accessible during Ranger-guided tours. The trail goes through a limestone strand forest where you can see native plants and animals, such as a hilitai (monitor lizard), and other cultural artifacts. The terrain is flat, but uneven with loose rocks on the trail. This trail is recommended for families with younger children (under 7). Please visit the Events page to see upcoming guided tours to the caves or email [email protected].
