Overview
Dryopteris crinalis var. podosorus, a fern in the Dryopteridaceae (wood fern) family, is medium-sized, with frond blades 20 to 85 cm (7.9 to 33.5 in ) long with straw to dark brown colored stipes covered with hairs and hair-like scales. Blades are 2- to 3-pinnate and covered with scales. Sori are adnate (broadly attached), raised on stalks, and lack indusia (membrane around sori).
