About This Position
The Lower Rio Grande Valley National Wildlife Refuge is looking for hardworking volunteers to help maintain the many USFWS properties in southern Texas. Volunteers are needed from November through March, three days a week for 24 hours (couples) or four days a week for 32 hours (for non-couples) in exchange for an RV spot. Full hook-ups are provided in exchange for services. Volunteers must work outdoors most of the day using hand tools during maintenance. It is helpful, but not required, to have some knowledge of GPS, and also beneficial to have carpentry skills.
